Experience the magic of farm and forest through classes, camps and workshops
We are an educational property in rural Multnomah County, just outside of Gresham, Oregon. Part forest, part farm, we work towards restoring and maintaining the health of the natural ecosystem while raising a small number of fiber animals. Our education programs teach others the wonder of the natural world through exploration and art.
Youth Programs
At Cedar Dell we curate engaging educational programs for all ages, providing opportunities to deepen connections to the natural world. Through engaging, experiential programs, children will increase ecological literacy and build curiosity and wonderment for the earth they inhabit.
As resident educator and artist, Casey creates plant-dyed textiles, leaf-printed art, home goods and other items made from all natural materials. Plants and fiber from Cedar Dell are incorporated into many products. Her main art form is eco-printing, a process of transferring the images and pigments of real leaves onto fabric without the use of any additional inks or dyes.
